Basil plant...you're lucky indeed like bunnygirl said! It has been balmy 55F (+13C)here during the day, but it is still a long way until I can plant basil outdoors! Do you ever nibble at that little plant, I wonder?
OK Archie ... here is what I have been waiting for! Do you guys know Tom Robbins? He is a nutty author who wrote several stories, one famous one called 'Even Cowgirls Get the Blues'. Tom lives just a few miles from me, just down the road practically. The main character in there is a gal named Sissy Hankshaw (I think that is her name) and she was born with huge thumbs! She became a world class hitch-hiker, along with several other wacky things. I think you remind me of Sissy, sort of. Always hitching a ride!!! Which reminds me of the nice song by CCR - "Sweet Little Hitch-hiker" Sweet Archie ann!!!!
i am the coolest bunny ever to walk the face of the earth. i was born in Tucson, Az and lived with my mom's little sister for a while then came to live with my mom in Southern california. my goal is to take over the world, just like that wonderful lab mouse Brain.

That is so cute! You are totally spread-eagled on the dirt, it must be pretty cool there. :D
Ooh, a basil plant! You're a lucky bun!

You know how I feel about that basil plant... maybe you should get some basil AND thyme so you're never out.
Katie - yeah the dirt is cool and it's been warm out so the cool dirt helps keep me cool! We rabbits don't regulate heat well at all.
Bunnygirl - yeah but i can't wait till she plants more
Yowlyy - i love basil - there was a lot more plant there but i ate it all!
dk&co - yeah i keep telling mum to fix it... she says soon
Well, Archi Ann, a pathetic basil plant is better than the dead basil plants we've got around here! At least your plant has promise =:-)

Gotta chill any time you can, right! Warm weather is on its way even if it is freezing outside at the moment...
